Company Profile
We are a home based business with low overhead that gets the product
directly from the manufacturers so that we may pass on the savings to you
at wholesale prices. We are currently at the Mesa Market Place
swap meet and have been in existence since 1995.
We did our homework
early on and traveled through Mexico and made our contacts with the manufacturers.
This way we avoided all the middle salespeople and the increase in product
costs. Since we are close to Nogales Arizona, sometimes we overhear
people stating that they think they can get it cheaper in Nogales....guess
again!!! By the time the product reaches Nogales, it's probably gone
through a couple of middle-men and everybody has to make their profit.
If you buy retail from some of the vendors in Phoenix, chances are they
bought it from some wholesaler who bought it from some middleperson already
in a border city. The product probably changed hands a couple of
times along the way plus the mark up increased a few more times.
Our repeat customer's have stated that they can buy cheaper from us than
going to Nogales, AZ.
We have a warehouse in Cd. Juarez, Mexico which is a border city with
El Paso, Texas where the shipments are received. We bring the materials
ourselves through the formal channels of the US Customs service.
If you have ever brought material across the border, hopefully you will
appreciate all the work and red tape that one goes through to get the material
into the United States. We could hire some company to handle all
the transportation and brokering services, but that would mean that the
prices would go up substantially.
We are currently working with about 6 manufacturers and the material
comes from very far away places (about 2,500 miles away). The material
that we are currently importing can not be found at your favorite stores,
and if they do it's very likely we will have lower prices.
We enjoy bringing arts and crafts from Mexico because we hope that there will be a greater appreciation for the ideas and craftsmanship that the Mexican artisan has to offer. Also by selling this material we know that we are helping out a few families and that makes us feel really happy.
